Files you upload

In upload mode, your file never leaves your browser. It is read locally and processed by a speech model running on your own device. We do not receive it, and we cannot see it.

Links you submit

In link mode, we fetch the audio of the public post you submit in order to transcribe it. The audio and the resulting transcript are held only for as long as the request takes and are not stored afterwards.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which tools are used. We do not sell personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies, for example to remember your daily free usage. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising without your consent.

Your rights

Because we do not hold accounts or store transcripts, there is normally nothing for us to delete. If you have a question about data we might hold, write to hello@transcriptsnap.com.
